      Hey Guys,
This thread may a little old, butNeopxl response:

This is only working Rom for Model: MXQ-S805_D08
      Ver: 1.0
      Date: 151221
      of my friend from china
      https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw...GRvekNBRjBTU3c

MXQ-S805_D08 Ver:1.0 Date:151221 <-- this was printed on my circuit board. Yes, you have to open up the box - it's only 4 screws under the rubber pads.

Worked for me! Only difference was when the USB_burning_tool was installed with it's drivers, reboot the PC for changes to take effect.
I was also able to upgrade after flashing the stock image (listed above) using the S805_8188_aml_upgrade_package_20150810.7z file.

      Many thanks guys!

Hi everyone, I'm from Argentina and have the same model of tv box and the same problem. I've downloaded the file Neoxpl posted, and I was getting happy be cause always stucs 2% with other ROMS and this went to 7% but then, stuck again, with this error:

        [10:10:05 359][HUB4-4][Err]--Download file failed, sequence 8
        [10:10:05 359][HUB4-4][Inf]--Failure : 2, FailureMax : 3
        [10:10:05 359][HUB4-4][War]--[10:10:45 361][HUB4-4][Err]--usbWriteFile len=65536, ret=-116 error_msg=libusb0-dll:err [_usb_reap_async] timeout error

        [10:10:45 362][HUB4-4][Err]--Download file failed, sequence 8
        [10:10:45 362][HUB4-4][Inf]--Failure : 3, FailureMax : 3
        [10:10:45 532][HUB4-4][Err]--[0x30403003]UBOOT/Partition logo/Download buffer/Data tranfer error
        [10:10:45 533][HUB4-4][Inf]--Close device handle 0x000002b4

aparently when "downloading logo"... any clues about this and how can I solve it?

        thank you!

          Hey Aricasan,
I know this sounds "redundant", but this happens to "older" windows OS (i.e. Win7, Win8), so try this:
          1) reboot PC
          2) insert one end of the USB cable to PC USB port that you have not used (you likely have 4 USB ports); DO NOT INSERT INTO TV BOX YET
          3) Bring up USB_Burning_Tool; load the base IMG; toothpick/stick into AV port; connect OTHER END INTO TV BOX NOW
          4) PC should show a message saying "Installing World Drivers..." dialog bubble notification on the taskbar
          5) once connected to the USB_Burning_Tool, push Start Button
          6) If this fails or stops midway, do steps 1 through 5 BUT SWITCH THE USB PORT TO AN UNUSED ONE.
