Hello Guys, I Really Need Help,

I have Android Smart TV RK3188. Already spending time to search and downloading firmware, but nothing match. Some running good but having problem (Wifi/Ethernet)

if you have a Stockrom you can use "resource.img" & kernel.img to get Wifi & Ethernet working ,

on a good runnig Rom , most times , good luck / gefattern

Thanks bro... I already found 2 firmware but still problem on network... Chips on board is RTL8723AS. Display info on formware is not RTL8723AS.

Editing kernel its to hard for me

Any stock rom out there? Already try extract kernel.img...but nothing happen after reload it

Geekbuying has several rk3188 firmware on their blog. They have this post on how to ID some of the RK3188 boxes like the Q7 and others. Some firmware are linked there, I don't know if the links are active.
My 3188 box has the RTL8188E and MT6622N Bluetooth chip, so doubt anything I have would be helpful to you firmware wise.

My 3188 box has the RTL8188E and MT6622N Bluetooth chip, so doubt anything I have would be helpful to you firmware wise.

T-R42/CS918/Q7 is similar casing but different MOBO. Its hard to find firmware that matching the RTL8723AS. As mention in that link, downloading the stock T-R42 firmware with RTL8723AS chips inside but stuck in booting interface. Using 2 type of flash tool. same result.

Using the Q7 firmware that support RTL8188EU, running smooth...but internet is not functioning...via wifi or lan...both failed to turn on and connecting...

Stil trying to find the right firmware..

It's weired...already flash with "Stock rom".. but still a failure.



Firmware with RTL8723AU not RTL8723AS

1. No connection
2. Slow booting
3. Crash in the end

Still fighting for the right firmware...lol

On the back of the casing...is no stickers...
no number stamp on pcb...
Maybe another clone of the clone...of china...lol

Without more information, finding a perfect matched firmware will be a challenge.
A thread was started ages ago to help ID the many variants of the look-a-like 3188 boxes. Maybe a look through there will lead to a solution. Most links to Freaktab posts in that thread will be incorrect. You will need to change the link. An example...

The MOBO is ZX005 2013.11.15
But all link for the firmware is dead lol
