FYI in case anyone stumbles in here, once you erase flash, you simply manually enter your device into bootloader by pressing your reset button, as normal, then proceed with flaahing

Alright, I'll give it the final try with a mod on that firmware. It'll be a full update. img, not just a system file..

No i don't need a mod! I am fine with this firmware except this problem.

The erase rom worked as expected; the message it returned was normal
