i did short these round ones but nothing happens

You need one usb-usb cable.
Put one side in the port usb 2 of your box, the black one.
Make the shorcut done by Lopez1979pl and in the same time put the other side of usb cable to your computer

Does your pc "beep" after connecting tv box with usb/usb cable?
??????If it is but doesn't reognize the hardware try another driver assistant (4.8 and another factory tool).

If your pc doesn't "beep" You should try another usb port or another usb/usb cable.

i tried driver assistant 4.8 and ft 1.66 but laptop is not diving any sound like device connected it it , only red light

Try slightly move usb cable connector (in pc and/or tv box), in my case the usb cable could't not be inserted all the way but like 3/4 of its length.

I hope it will help or try another cable/pc

Try a different pc/laptop.

If You do short the pins correctly and pc/laptop do not recognize it (with driver properly instaled) i have no other ideas :-(

ok now i give up as its not even getting ON with Power adapter

need recommendation which box to buy as i know you people are champion on android boxes

Ugoos X2 Cube if you want something cheap and that just works.
The 2 devices you mention also have problems.

Allwinner chipsets are the possible worst you can get, zero support and software bugs.
But out of the box it will perform a little better than the H96 Max.

now getting connecting sound on laptop when i short pin and than insert usb cable but its not detected by factory toll ( sorry for last update that i was not getting ON with adapter , by mistake i was using wifi adapter on that time )
