Help for custom rom tools

I'm trying to create a custom rom for my TV box with Android 8.1.

I managed to modify the system.img to modify the bootanimation.
Now I do not know what to do to flash the change on the system.img repack.

I would also like to customize the APK installation and configuration of the language + keyboard how to do?

Hello and welcome,

First you can modify a Rockchip system.img easy in Linux.
Just mount it modify and unmount there is only one bottleneck the size.
But you can change the size also easy.
For reflash to your device easy way is to use Android tools for Rockchip and burn it.

I'm using RKDevTool to try to write the system.img file in the system partion of the box but I have an error. Do you have an idea ? Then how to package a firmware file containing all the IMG files of the box (boot, kernel, oem, recovery, resource, security, system, uboot, vendor, etc ...) It will be easier to flash all partitions with AndroidTool. Thank you

Yes I have a Idea.
You must write the hole ROM back to the Device not only the system.img.
Hope you have the full Rom.

Take the Rockchip Android Tool for Flashing I linked it above for you.
Also check the Size of your System.img.
In some cases you can?t Customize the Rom cause they have an Protection in it.
Take Android Tool and make Erase Flash then you are in Mask Rom Mode.
Then Flash again, sometimes this Helps.

Take Android Tool and make Erase Flash then you are in Mask Rom Mode.
