ok phred01 i'm happy that working. About Youtube app, you can remove it with Root Uninstaller granting root permissions and do a new clean installation.

I do not wish to be controversial but it is happening to have to ask the same questions several times and it is a bit difficult to help you if I have no answers from you.

Does your Wi-Fi work on android 9?

I will try to find a youtube apk that works.

I did not know about the C until I read this post. I did the samething and installed the C and my wifi didn`t work. After finding this and read what you said I then went and done the one without the C and my wifi is back. Thanks

found a good app but utube invites to upgrade but what it does cobbers the app and it not longer works reinstalling the app doesn't fix it they must put a block in the OS The work around is to reload ver 9 a fresh then load up the app again so the moral of the story is always decline!
