T002 - MK806 V1.0 - RK3066 - MT5931SA - NO BT - ROM?

Hi Guys, a mate of mine handed over his stick as he says the wifi is just awful and it constantly buffers when streaming. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a ROM please?
Done a lot of searching and I'm coming up with a lot of 'maybe's

I have a suggestion that may help with your WiFi connection issue that did help with mine...


If you are using a 2.4Ghz wireless USB receiver or bluetooth USB receiver for your controllers ( keyboard/mouse ).... get a USB extension cable and plug it into the end of that so you can get it away from the device.

Wifi, BT and the RF 2.4Ghz wireless controllers all operate on 2.4Ghz frequencies... if they are placed close together they can interfere with each other. Plugging your USB receiver into an extension cable and moving it away will help avoid the interference problems that may make a connection unstable.

A custom ROM may still help in addition to what I'm suggesting... but if the issue is also some type of interference like I mentioned, a ROM alone won't completely address the issue. In addition... keep your device and wifi router away from other 2.4Ghz devices such as wireless telephones and other similar types of wireless components.


PS... You may want to get a picture of the other side of the device that clearly shows the components ... that may help others identify your device better.
