Which file did you load for your box? And also one question which revision is old and which is new. What can I try it? I found it on the board:
    my device is : "CH001 1340 TN-BX09_v2.1 2013/05/31"
If you have 1340 version, it seem to be new revision, so try to use "kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img".
But are you sure the problem is the kernel file ?

For revision, somebody said to me that :
1329. These four numbers identify year and week of manufacturing. Everything before 1330 should be old revision, PCB made between 1332 and 1335 has mixed reports of new and old revisions. After 1335 there are rather all new revision PCB.

Generaly speeking there is minor difference between old and new revision concentrating around LAN (Ethernet) controller part of PCB and it is quite safe to install kernel either for old or new revision on new or old version board. Besides LAN everything should work.

Thank you very much for guidance. I have still one question. There is many files in the "firmware-wasser-1.2.4.zip" file. Which of them i have to save into the box? In the firmware HFW_3.2F is only one file "HFW_3.2F.img" 455MB long for example. It is understandable for me. But here I do not know. Here is one file "system.img" 522MB long and then many small files. Thank you for help.

PS: Sorry my english. I hope you understand me.

          After YOUR answer at #15:
Hopefully you know what a partition is, if not, forget it...
To catch the parameter of your flahed img with rkbatch use RK3xxx Firmware Tools to extract it or use RKAndroidTool2.1 to download it from your device (but you must edit the dump to a textfile)...
Then you have to use RKAndroidTool by changing the addresses matching to the addresses in the parameter-file and only check the kernel-row and flash it without erase nand or idb (you cannot use rkbatch for it!!!)...
Have a look at "The second way to flash using Windows is the RKAndroidTool..."

Me, I flashed all files. When I open the program, I juste select the correct Kernel and run the flash.
In HFW, the kernel in include in the .img file. But in wasser firmware, there is different kernel possible.

I understand you, no problem. I'm not english too. I'm french ! And you ?

Please is somewhere guide for flashing k-r42 boxes? I need to learn it. I did not find anything like that anywhere. This talking is for long time. Thanks.

              ... I am Czech.

I understand a little about it. I must use RKAndroid tool for wasser image. Not RKBatchtool... Then I will select the files "boot-1080p.img", "kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img" and other image files. Only then I will click RUN. Is it right?

                There is unfortunately no guide.
You have to use the tool provided in the "firmware-wasser-1.2.4.zip" file.

You turn your box on recovery mode.
You connect your box to your pc
You run the tool in the zip file. (It should recognize your device)
                You change kernel file path.
                You click RUN.

                Enjoy

I probably quite understand the procedure. But I thought I must to flash all img files. That is "RK3188Loader(L)_V1.24.bin", "parameter", "kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img", "boot-1080p.img", "recovery.img", "misc.img" and "system.img". Really is sufficient to flash only "kernel-1080p-k-r42-new.img" file? Then I do not understand this procedure again.
You've uploaded the firmware 1.2.4? I wanted to upload firmware 1.2.5. There is auto hide systemui. I would like it.

Excuse my terrible English. My older head does not understand the language already.

I thought you only want to replace the kernel...
If it is a misunderstanding and you want to use the new wasser completely, YES of cause you have to flash every file (without backup | update.img).... (with a erase nand/idb before)
But of cause you have to change the name (filename) by duble-klick at the cell at the row for boot and kernel

I want only my k-r42 connect with my LAN after standby. But I do not know how can I do it. I am really no expert on flashing rom on the android system. Maybe I like also to have autohide systemui on my box. But it is not necessary for me.

OK, if it is a problem to you to use the rkandroidtool and you are able to handle it with rkbatch then try wasser 1.2.3 because it is all in one image file to flash with rkbatch...
                        - auto hide works (settings...)
                        - xbmc works
but I don't know what's about lan after standby, because my box runs always every time (do not use standby)...

Thank you for advice. I will try it this evening. RKBatch is without problem for me. I will see when it will be better. Then I'll write here.

Well done. Wasser 1.2.3 is working well. LAN is without problem after standby. Autohide systemui works also well. Only Just XBMC had problems with some video files in my archive. I installed Beyond XBMC and it working well. Thank you very much for your help.
