This is a MK802IV with the old wifi.
I soldered an external antenna and it fixed all wifi drops, I can stream 1080 files from my pc.
Cut heatsinks from an old motherboard, used thermal pasted and secured it with those black plastic strings (dont know what they are called). Glued a small fan to the heatsink with double sided scotch tape.
I need to buy some zip ties to properly connect it to the USB hub.
All the usb devices are connected to the hub, even if I only connect the wireless keyboard and mouse to the stick it reboots, and I have a 5V 3A power supply.
The stick stays cool at a 1800 OC, memory 1500 OC, performance governor during antutu benchmark.
Any other modders here? maybe someone did it much better and more appealing?

Some hilarious hardware here. Love how he glued that PC GPU cooler.

Was thinking to build something colourful with a fluorescent plexi, but then i thought again and i dont want lights where i watch my movies. Modding wise for cooling is a different subject, i am sure there are Fans out there the same size as the Minix X7 i.e, mounting something like that inbetween its own case, with a few drills on top and the bottom could lead to a very cool device.

He turned the stick into a full on pc.
I prefer it as small as possible.
There were links to drop box, I attached the images as well.

          CPU Temp

Is there any way to get the CPU Temperature? It seems that my CX-919 does not support temp monitoring but I wanted to confirm.

          Thanks...Brad
