    Tablet Freeze

Hello, you may want to flash the ROM to Finless 1.5 version. My new one was flaky like that, then I got a ROM ota update from Pipo and that helped. ROM developers on this forum : Finless Bob has his 1.5 version and RilelyRom has a beta test version with the new Kikat ROM, you will want to go with the Finless 1.5 to have a smoother than OEM ROM.
There is a learning curve on flashing roms, so you will want to download the custom rom under the Roms thread here under pipo roms. Open it up and read through the instructions and see if you feel comfortable flashing on your own. You just need a pc or laptop to put the rom files on, then use the pipo usb cable to connect the tablet to your pc. Plug into the tablets USB port not the port marked Host. Then install the rockchip driver (see exact instructions with the ROM download).
You made a good purchase, these tablets have great support on this site with all the custom rom work. I can't imagine buying a tablet with no rom support and independant developers.

I don't have any lockups and the WiFi and GPS work much better. I do have to reset the tablet sometimes, usually if tablet sits a day or two without use. I think a capacitor or power supply may be flaky, but all in all it's an excellent choice. I had to get a leather case from Pipo, it's so lightweight I was afraid I was going to drop it.

Thank You, I do know how to flash roms. But before I do, I wanted to know if maybe I receive a defective Tablet. And maybe I should return it and order a new pipo m9 pro.

I think you have time to work with a new rom. I had 30 days to try it out. These custom ROMs are fixed official Pipo ROMs. Pipo should pay these guys for their custom ROM work. I had already decided I wanted this tablet for this kind of online help. It depends on how long it took to get it and return policy from your seller, on is it easy to return etc. I didn't want to waste time and money for another tablet that may have the same issue as mine. You might try uninstalling some of the Chinese bloatware to see if you have an app that is not working out of Chinese area, like their version of play store on the tablet. If you have Google play working l would delete the Chinese apps. You may have a ROM ota available from Pipo. You can check it in your settings -about tablet-system updates menu. I got one of those last month from Pipo, but I flashed to FinlessBob 1.5 anyway.
If you can return it easy enough you can also go that route.
        Cheers!,

One thing you can try to fix the freezing problem is to format your external SD card with NTFS.

Rockchip processors don't play well with FAT32. It may solve the problem. It won't hurt to try it.

Just remember that CWM can't read NTFS....so if you try running a CWM backup it will first reformat your card back to FAT32...ERASING ALL OF YOUR STUFF.
