    New CS968 - No video out

    Dear friend,

    Just got a new CS968 tv box from dealsprime.When i connected it to the tv using the supplied hdmi cable there was no video signal. I have checked all the hdmi ports with the same cable, then i change the cable to an old one (that works perfectly with other devices) and the problem is still there. No video out. Then i tested the supplied rca cable in order to check if there was a problem with the hdmi port. The result was the same, no video out.

    I did all the test using another tv, the same result. No video.

    So, i do believe that is a software problem but i am not sure if i am right. Do anyone believe that a image flash will solve the problem?

    Any ideas are welcome.

    I would suggest, send the device back.This sounds like a hardware problem.
    If you try something, maybe you loose warranty.

    If you really want to take the risk, flash at first only the original firmware of your cs968 with the correct camera type 2MP or 5MP.

      Sound like d.o.a (death on arrival)
      See.. if the device is reconized by the pc.. when connected
      -to see.. if you can update the unit

      I suggest contacting 'prime'
      -asked them for support..
      -suggest a firmware update might help.. as suggested by freaktab member/forum (if pc sees your unit)
      --then see what there responds is

        I am waiting for a reply from the dealsprime support team. The told me to contact www.apad.tv. We will see if there is a solution and i will post the results.

          Reflash the device as advice by their support forum. Reflash was successful but the problem is still there, no video out.

            As I said, looks like a hardware problem. Ask the support again, but I think, they have to replace you the box.

              I am asking for support contacting directly the wholesaler and also by writing in their support forum. No reply from them, i am getting really angry with their behaviour.
