I just had a thought. If you now have a green box in the flasher tool, that means its back in bootloader mode. If flash was succesful, no box should be lit now in the flasher. So this means you need to un-jumper whatever pins you've been jumping. Do that, then hook it back up and I'll betchya it goes into clockworkmod. It only takes about 10seconds.

Ok, you said that after successful flash you now had a green box in the tool. That means its rebooting into bootloader mode. You will get NO SIGNAL in bootloader mode. SO, this means you still have something going on preventing it from booting normally. IE: its acting like the reset button is stuck in. Trust me on this. You probably have two pins still touching. Like I said in my initial post, I literally broke my reset button off the board, and had to solder a toggle switch on temporarily to be able to get into bootloader mode to flash a rom. With that said, if I left the switch on, and flashed successfully, it would boot right back into bootloader\flash mode. So duh, I just desoldered the toggle and presto, it booted normally.

ok i plug it back in to the computer w/o doing anything to it and it got recognized as mk809III as other devices so its mising a driver and no tool sees it so its not in mask rom mode, btw this is the first time my comp sees it like mk809III and not as a rockchip device

Ok, install the adb driver I posted above. Its what it is looking for. If that all goes well (as it should), do the bit with the adb.rar as well. Your almost done man =) Actually, you dont NEED to install the drivers if you dont want to. I personally would, for it could save you from some serious headaches down the road. With that said, you should be able to hook it up to your TV now and get video.. Its just sitting in clockworkmod, waiting for user input. IE: if you hooked a usb keyboatd up to your stick right now, then hit enter, it would reboot and start loading the rom.

                      Grab this file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/v8...K3188v1.37.rar

Extract it, you should have a folder named RK3188v1.37, with two folders inside it. Copy MY rom update.img file to the dir "rockdev\image". Now, go to the "RKDevelopTool_v1.37" directory and run RKAndroidTool.exe. Uncheck all boxes accept loader, parameter and backup. Then click run. Let me know what happens. If it fails initially, you can try to erase idb then re-run.
failed first time got it after ereasing idb then i plug it in the tv and after a few mins the on led turned off and now none of my comps see it red led hasnt turned on since

Ack! Ok, humor me and do this. Take the dongle out of its plastic shell. Next, plug in a micro usb cable to the side micro usb port, but NOT into the computer just yet. Do NOT plug power into it, and do NOT hook it up to TV... Just the one cable to side port. Now, with one hand\finger, press in and hold down the reset button. With the button held in for at least 2 seconds, proceed to plug the micro usb cable into whichever computer you intend to use to flash the dongle with. I had the no power light thing happen to me too at one point (not with this rom.. I think it was finless 1.4) however I could still get it into flash mode doing the above. If that doesnt work, probably back to cpu mask mode or whatever by shorting those two pins. I personally never had to do that so I cant comment. I bricked my unit quite literally dozens of times and never had to do that. Hell I was purposefully bricking the damned thing just to see what I could and couldnt do heh. One thing is for sure, this rom I cooked up has worked as is on 3 of our type of dongles without issue. I guess I just dont understand why you werent getting video from your device when CWM loaded. Hrmph keep me informed k? Worse comes to worse, and if your a trusting type, ship it to me I can have what sounds like the exact same model (accept working of course ;-) ) sent back out to ya the same day. Just sayin....

Just a thought, does the TV your using support 1080p? Or only 720.. Because ummm, color me stupid but I believe this rom has a 1080 kernel. Honestly though, I'm using it on a 23in flatscreen with a HDMI to DVI adapter sooOOOooOoo. Just a thought.

sorry it took me so long to reply, lots of work today, my tv is not full hd if its not 1080i its 720p idk lol, pushing the litle button on the device never had done anything thats why i had to go the short the pins way, so no dice, no led , no computer can recognize it im out of ideas by now, im leaning to take a wire and gettting a good ground on it and pass it through every pin and chip on the thing, prolly not a very good idea hehe
