Next8P12 (NXM805MC) Preparing SD card

I am having a problem with my tablet.

Next8P12 (NXM805MC) "Preparing SD card"

This tablet wasn't rooted.

Whenever I open my tablet it will say Preparing SD card.
The icon of sd card to the left of the time is displayed near botton right hand side of the tablet screen.
When I see this I know the screen freezes and I can't do anything, swipe the screen so will go to next screen or open any apps.

I took out my micro sd card thinking it will solve my problem, yet still the same.

I did a wipe data and factory reset, but still same thing.

Anybody knows what the problem is ?

It sounds like a problem with the "internal" sd card parition.

I don't know if it can be repaired or not... but when I release CWM Recovery for your model, I believe it has an option to reformat the internal SD card. That might fix it. I hope to get it released within the next few days.

I tried app. to sd pro, but it seems to only transfer files from internal space to internal sd card which only has 2.60 GB total space. I can't get to transfer to external micro. sd card whiuch will have a lot more space.

CWM is custom recovery with many more options than the stock recovery.

As I recall, the stock recovery can not reformat the internal SD card partition. The only way to reformat it is from system settings, but as I understand, your tablet won't boot?

Android only supports moving apps to the "internal" SD card, when both and internal and external SD card exist.

In the future, it might be possible to either swap the internal and external Sd card mount points or just not mount the internal sd card at all, which would allow a larger external SD card to be used for apps, but this would require a custom ROM.

It now boots but when I try to press volume down button and power button ? Is that called system recovery ? It will display a green coloured "Upgrading" a couple of times and I will get a blank black screen afterwards.
I have difficulty it getting it to display the green Android figure and the blue text to choose what option to do. What can I do to solve this problem ? I think I deleted by doing re-set and wipe out and deleted all data of internal memory when my tablet was freezing up before, so does that delete the system recovery files in the internal memory so is that why I am having problems ?

That would be the recovery mode, but I'm not sure why yours isn't working...

Why don't you download my modified stock recovery. You can unzip it and install the uImage_recovery file on your external SD card. The tablet will automatically attempt to load the external recovery instead of the internal recovery.

If that works, you could try flashing my stock ROM. It will wipe your data and cache and reload a stock system, but it might help you.

That would be the recovery mode, but I'm not sure why yours isn't working...

Why don't you download my modified stock recovery. You can unzip it and install the uImage_recovery file on your external SD card. The tablet will automatically attempt to load the external recovery instead of the internal recovery.

If that works, you could try flashing my stock ROM. It will wipe your data and cache and reload a stock system, but it might help you.

I only changed the signature verification so that we can install packages that didn't come from Nextbook.

I just noticed that the stock recovery (as well as my modified stock recovery) does have a wipe media option, which should erase and reformat your internal SD card partition.
