That's how the play store app works...

apk files typically go in /data, although they could go to /sdcard instead... they could also install additional files in other locations.

You can use the play store app or the system settings app to uninstall the apk files, but they may leave other files behind.

Is there no way one could clean out or uninstall others files which are left behind after uninstall.
Isn't there any special apps. to clean unneeded and unused files ?

      Thanks

Wiping data, cache and media from recovery or doing a factory reset from system settings will erase everything except the /system partition.

The only way to reset the /system partition is to do a ROM install.

Titanium backup is probably still standard and most commonly used, although I haven't used any backup apps myself in awhile.

Personally, I prefer to redownload all my apps and reconfigure all my settings when I flash a ROM.
