Please help me find out my TR-42 Version

    Hi,

I bought my TR-42 device on amazon. It's important for me to have fullHd on my tv while watching videos. On the bottom of my box is a sticker with the following serial number: "S/N:B351131000458". Anyone here that knows what custom firmware I can use?

Another question, how can I find out what's the used resolution of my androidbox. My tv says that I have 1080 i, but I've read that the android box only scales up the resolution, so how can I find out the real resolution? I've already read that there's an information on XMBC. What XMBC app is needed to find out the resolution?

Thank you very much in advance

    How to open box

Another question? Maybe I got to open the box and look for the version that's printed on the board? How to open the box, there are no visible screws around

Remove micro SD or other drives (which could damage the unit when taking it apart). Then put the board under a bright lamp, take some good photos and upload them here

            Hi stubuchy and polarbear,

thank you for your answers. The tip with the rubber feet was a good one. I opened my box and was able to take some images. Please have a look at them (I know they are not the best ... but it was the best my smartphone could do )

Thank you in advance for your answers

I have Lewy's rom on mine, it is very good and stable, but get a better power supply, I got a linksys IP camera off **** for £5, threw away the camera and used the power supply, very stable..
