    CX-919ii - J22

I'm the owner of a CX-919ii. Initially I though that same as CX-919 and I flashed a FInless ROM only to lose the WIFI.

After reading a lot here and keeping in mind that I'm not very proficient with this custom ROM business, I realized that CX-919ii is an exception to ROM development. So I'm creating this thread with the hopes that there is going to be a more isolated space regarding this tv stick.

It is also my understanding that CX-919ii is also known as J22. Among many things that I have read are about installing a Finless rom or Neomode hybrid with the J22 kernel.

As I said I'm not experienced on these matters so can someone explain here more for me and other users.

Please share also a good rom or combination that you have found to replace the stock rom.
It is not always very clear on how to do these things so please lets try to create some solid posts for other people also who own a CX-919ii.

To be honest, the CX-919ii is not mine and most probably I'll avoid buying it for me also. Although more powerful I don't see a lot of community support, so if I don't see any different opinions here I would not also recommend it.

    Thanks you guys!

    zetzzz has the answer

In this subforum, zetzzz posted a great solution for your device here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-dan-Vsync-Fix

Summarizing, you can flash a Finless ROM (for CX919) simultaneously with your own kernel or one of zetzzz's kernels for your CX919ii device. Works great for me

I'll check it out probably tomorrow.
I have one question though. Does this work on every release? I mean do you get worried?
I got the feeling that besides the uncertainty of using a custom developed rom, you also get the uncertainty driven by this devices differences.

It did work for the Finless 1.6b but not for the 2.0 beta (Android 4.4)
