    I also tried the following:
    * MK908II stock firmware (doesn't boot)
    * T428 stock firmware (no wifi or bluetooth)
    * Finless 2.0b for CX-919 (everything works but wifi disconnects frequently and has a speed of 80-110 kBps)

    Any more guesses of ROMs I can try? Cannot roll without the wifi ;(
    Hi!

    For my Measy u4a I am using combination of Tronsmart T428 KitKat 4.4.2 Finless ROM 2.0 downloaded from here
    http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...inless-ROM-2-0 and AP6210 kernel for TV sticks downloaded from here http://www.freak-tab.de/d33/kernel_AP6210_V300.zip which gives amazing Antutu benchmark results – 21097. For now it seems stable and the only issue I found is volume control which is not adjustable (volume levels are not adjustable in multiple levels/steps) but I can live with that. Video playback also works great.

    So, to resolve your problem with non-working WiFi and Blutooth, just use Finless KitKat 4.4.2 for T428 and one of AP6210 kernels mentioned in this post.

    This combination works great!

      Sounds promising, I'm in the middle of trying it. Which kernel of the 4 are you using?

      * kernel_AP6210_HD_CIFS.img
      * kernel_AP6210_SD_CIFS.img
      * kernel_t_ AP6210_HD_CIFS.img
      * kernel_t_AP6210_SD_CIFS.img

      Oh, and am I not supposed to use the 4gb parameter for U4A? I get a download systemkk failed using 4gb but not 2gb.

        You should use one of these depending of available SD or HD resolution on your TV (I prefer SD but you will decide). "T" kernels are used for RK3188 devices with RK3188T processors. Measy u4a uses real RK3188 prcessor so you should use one of these non "T" kernels.

        * kernel_AP6210_HD_CIFS.img
        * kernel_AP6210_SD_CIFS.img

          Thanks, it's working excellent! I can now even stream 720p MKV video without problems. The video is floating purely. You have been of great help. The only issue was that 2gb parameter butI can live with that.

            Nice!:-) Sorry I totally missed out your
            question about parameter file... 2gb parameter file should be used for Maesy u4a devices.

              2gb alright.

              Hey everytime I boot this thing I gotta disable physical keyboards since there are none. Any way to do this permanently? I just have this air mouse.

              This rom is not making use of the horizontal desktop space. There is a lot of space going to waste.

              I hooked up this dongle to another TV but wifi dropped out bad. This antenna must be the weakest of it's kind is it not? The router is in the next room.

                I need a new idea. Finless ROM is hardcoded with a physical enabled keyboard and it's restored every boot. I don't have a phsyical keyboard for the device and it's annoying to disable it every time.

                I tried a couple of ROM combinations but none worked. Anyone got another working solution for U4A except Finless 2.0 T428 + AP6210 kernel?

                I'm gonna try with Measy_U4x_RK3188_Android_KitKat_v442_20140227 + kernel_AP6210_HD_CIFS.img.

                Edit: Ok the ROM combination worked. But I found the solution to the keyboard: "add ro.hardkeyboard.support=false to /system/build.prop to disable hardware keyboard". Going back to Finless ROM again as Kingoapp couldn't find the device for rooting. :~

                Edit2: Editing build.prop caused this piece of garbage not to boot any longer. Geez I'm so tired of this. It's like every step forward is two step backwards.

                Edit3: Managed to restore it using stock rom. Also noticed wither the 720p boot or kernel img didnt load the device. Going back to 1080.

                Edit4: ro.hardkeyboard.support=false has absolutely no effect on Finless ROM.

                  Ok. A few points:
                  1. I can't install the 720 kernel;
                  2. The dongle keeps rebooting;
                  3. The cpu is overclocked to 1.8mh - should I put it to 1.6?

                    Same here with U4A. The 720 kernel (kernel_AP6210_V300\kernel_AP6210_SD_CIFS.img) doesn't load the device.
