PIPO M6 MAX, patch the kernel?

    Hi all,

I have a Pipo M6 Max and have just flashed it to 2.0 and am quite happy with it. Now I want to try one of the kernels which is supposed to increase it's performance and am wondering is it possible that I patch just the kernel? Or do I have to re-flash my device + the kernel at the same time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

you can read the correct thread and not open a new one, It could be very confusing if everyone do the same.

In any case you can install a patched kernel without reinstalling everything.

Apologies but I did a quick search before posting and could not find any information. Even now I have searched but I cannot find any thread with the instructions to apply the kernel. Can you kindly direct me to the correct thread? Do I follow the same procedure as flashing the custom rom but only select the kernel to update?

Apologies if this has been answered before but I cannot find any info on how to do this and have looked at quite a lot of threads already but am unable to find the instructions. Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need to flash the kernel only.
        Don't execute "erase IDB".
