MK802IV S with old Serial number

    MK802IV S with old Serial number

    I have buy a "new" MK802IV S device with 16Gb nand . I update it with new firmware und up from there the there is no activiy on the screen. I know the update procedure and make for sure no mistake. I also try to flash Picuntu on it but it also not worked.
    I notice that firmware depends on the serial number because of different wifi chips. But the serial numbers are listed with "serial# from 201307****till now" and "serial# from 201305**** to 06****". My device serial number starts with 130505**** . I find nothing for that kind of device. Anybody know firmware for that or know a solution ?

    I realize that I have the german version from rikomagic which is quite different. The download area from german rikomagic homepage is down. Someone have firmware for the german MK802 IV S device ?
    That would be verry nice, because for the german mk802IV s version the linux like Picuntu and Co still not work and i want to send this stick back (but for sure with a working firmware).

      Have you had any luck or installing Linux on the MK802IV S ?? I have the same problem bought the wrong stick :-( now I'm stuck with the wrong version!!
