    mk809III broken beyond repair?

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my MK809III, I think it is bricked beyond repair.

    It is a mk809III with AP6210 wifi chip, THIS ONE.

    When I wanted to update it to the latest firmware, THIS ONE, I got a BSOD on Windows, during flashing.
    After that my computer(s) can't connect to it anymore and it doesn't show anything when I plug it into the tv either.

    I have tried:
    - connect it to the pc and hold the reset button, then power it on -> computer won't find it
    - the "short-circuit" method, with pins 7&8 -> nothing
    - the "short-circuit" method with pins 8&9 -> nothing

    Are there any other methods I can try? I only got my mk809III since christmas, would suck if it was broken already.

    I hope you guys can help me.

    I had (sort off) the same situation as you do.
    It started that my 802iiis was crashing all the time, after a day he wouldn't boot anymore (black screen).
    So i connected it to my PC, nothing....with the short-circuit (50 times of trying) and rocktoolbatch i finaly got the original rom flashed back on it.
    But after connected to the TV it started all over again, crashing, crashing, black screen.....so when i connected it again on my PC i tried to flashed it again and BANG a BSOD.
    I never got the stick working right again

    I hope you got more luck...but i am afraid not.
