How easy is it to install Linux

I've been looking at this player:

Obviously the software is in chinese etc. How difficult would it be to install a different OS on an A10 Device which hasn't been documented before?

i used this :

it's NOT a fresh install and it coexists with your android, it uses a chroot environment (uses things from you android) and uses a file disk image. the debian install went without a problem, afterwards you can use vnc to connect to it. so it works but you don't boot into it like from an sd card or something. The vnc server is also accessible from a pc, so i don't use the vnc viewer on android but on pc. It's not the same thing but since i got an a31 device and you have an a10 one, it will probably also work without a problem yet it might not be what your looking for

also i think on the a10 linux has been working from sd card it's been done on the mele a1000 http://rhombus-tech.net/allwinner_a1...a1000/android/ and look around the sunxi wiki http://linux-sunxi.org/Main_Page

1st thing i mentioned = really easy
2nd thing = hard depending on what you know.. don't expect a step by step tutorial on this you'll have to search around but those sites are a good start & there are probably others
