wifi 5 GHz dont work in mk908 II stock ROM

I´ve tried it all. Changing channels in the router and wireless channel and 802.11 mode, but nothing will make the 5ghz network to show up in the mk908II. Why? I just dont find it..

I don't think the mk908II supports 5ghz wifi. I think the T428 and another one that escapes me are the only ones that support 5ghz.

It states 802.11 b/g/n where "n" is compatible with 5ghz according to the IEEE 802.11 protocol.

.11b/g are 2.4ghz, .11a is 5ghz, .11n is backwards compatible with all the three of them, but that is only the Final version of the protocol release.

what you have is a draft release, it is .11n only with 2.4ghz capabilites (notice there is no "A" in your "bgn")

i suspect they took this chip cause it was cheap due to being outdated.
