Please help me identify my board

Looks like cs918 box + ap6210 wifi/bt = T-r42?
But.. i have never seen this pcb.. So, probably a new revision (number 7, i have seen)
-the numbers and letters, are from tronsmart -but that maker has no tr42 for sale --it seems

If you have linux knowlege.. try using rkflashkit to make a backup (of the partitions)

It has a nice GUi

Then post the kernel.. or image/rom for futher development at freaktab (as download)
-a backup is also handy.. just encase, you seek to try another rom/firmware now or in the futher

I, hastily , because xbmc video playback was choppy, installed wasser's 1.2.4 firmware onto this board. The trouble is, wifi and bluetooth will not work. After doing some research after instead of before I flashed it realised there are many different t-r42's. With my combination of wifi chips etc on this, possibly, new board could anyone recommend a more appropriate firmware to try out. I am struggling to find a stock firmware also for this board. Thankyou again for your replies.

Sorry I had already tried wasser 1.2.4... It came rooted checked with root checker, with xbmc installed, ran quite quickly but xbmc struggled with streaming 720p films over network. mx player ran well with local 720p mkv files. I am annoyed I didn't post before installing wasser's rom.

Hi. I have the exact same board brought from Amazon.
I have tried most fw on this site. Wasser 1.2.4 works with the OLD 1080p kernel. WiFi/BT work but not Ethernet. The 1080p kernel has issues with xmc as frame rate doesn't go above 35-36.
Hopefully some one can make for this device

Can the OP or another owner make a backup of the original firmware so hopefully someone can Make a custom 1080p kernel that has all wifi/BT and Ethernet working. I have already flashed mine with Wasser 1.2.4 otherwise I'd do it.

flashed with kit kat beta, wifi and bluetooth are back,... runs fast... now to fully test.

general android apps working well, lightning fast but mx player pro won't install... android reboots.. probably a kit kat thing.. we'll see...xbmc next????

I contacted the seller on Amazon and told him my CPU is locked at 1.4.1ghz. He sent me a link to new firmware, maybe this unlocks the CPU? I don't have NY laptop for a few days so I cannot test. Here is the link if needed.
