    Help identifying device AC8350, T-R42?

Hi all, can you help me identify my Android box? There are some pics here:

It is labelled AC8350 on the bottom

Also can anyone advise what is the best firmware to use for this? So far the stock seems ok though it does seem to have odd little freezes when on the android home screen (though not in mxplayer so far), build number is rk31sdk-eng4.22 JDQ39 eng.linking.20131126.155035 test-keys.

My biggest issue is that the picture is quite dark, I have had to put the contrast up to full to get a reasonable picture.

    Thanks in advance.

The board is very similar to mine T-R42 v2.0
The code B351 v2.0 is the same but it seems without the plug for bluethooth antenna. on mine on the board near the connection for the wifi cable there is another identical plug for the BT cable.

    So IMHO is a T-R42

About the firmware I'm very NOOB but I've tried Wasser's one and Lewi's one and both works well, Wasser's one is more rich in programs for home media player, Lewi's one is more "minimal"

On Lewi's one work whatsapp messenger.

Thanks for the advice, I've had a look at the wasser firmware and the dev tool that comes with it (not used it yet) how do I backup my existing firmware (in case it doesnt work)? Do I just untick all the selected boxes and select backup (the only unselected box upon loading the program) then click flash/run button?

      thanks

I'm Sorry But I'm very NOOb,
I hardly understand how to use the tool for flashing by myself and trying because I haven't found any guide or tutorial or anything that explain how these tools work.
But I don't know anything about backup.. sorry
Hope to see a little guide posted somewhere one day..
