    Quick Rom Flashing Question

    Hi all,

I got my MK908II today. I'm reading through the instructions to Flash Finless 1.5a. It says to connect the device to your PC via the OTG port and it will power up. Do I also need to plug in the MK908II to a power socket using the other micro usb port or will the power from my laptop be sufficient? I ask because I was under the impression that these devices needed approx 2mAh to run and I though the USB ports on computers only supply 0.5maH.

Secondly, do the MK908II need to be connected to my TV via HMDI when flashing. Will there be prompts on the screen when flashing?

    Thanks.

The laptop is enought to power the device while it is flashed, no need to power it with the psu.
If your device is connected to the tv you will see when the process ends and the device enters in recovery mode and format some partitions, if you cant connect it to tv while the rom is been flashed, dont worry only let it connected to PC about 5-10 minutes after the procces ends to be sure. And you will have no problems
