X7 008 OTA update?

I have the latest Minix X7 rom "NEO X7 6th FW Release (0101, version 008)" on my X7 (rooted). Now it starts to nag me about an OTA update:

"Find a OTA upgrade package! do you want to upgrade?, size: 325MB"

The Minix download section doesn't show any newer rom:

Does anyone here have a clue what it's about?

Users on the MINIX forum are wondering about the same thing as well. As of now there's no word from MINIX whether this is 009 or something else.

Seems that is time to flash the stock again so I can get the OTA and see what is inside. Or if someone has the stock installed try to upload it please.

in info it says that's 009, there's no changelog.

It's real easy to grab the OTA update from where it gets saved to.

I may have a look myself.

Not that easy, the transfer fails almost instantly. Seems like they set the timeout period to just a few seconds without auto-retry

Maybe other people have more luck from other geographical locations closer to Minix's download server.

Those who have already upgraded to the 009, did you had a native recovery, or CWM installed? Will update work with CWM?

I am downloading this zip now.

I BET this is a update.zip with edify script. EASILY converted to a flash-able ROM if needed. Well easily by me since I have done it before with a lot of learning PAIN

Then the update that comes after 009 for DTS, through OTA must be grabbed and also converted.

What I will do after I get this thing, is at least make a SINGLE flash-able ROM maybe with some of my tweaks

How to disable the OTA nag? It keeps coming up. I checked the settings but couldn't find a setting for it. Perhaps I'm overlooking it.

an overkill solution is to rename rkupdateservice.apk to. bak
no more nags but no more ota xD

Those who have already upgraded to the 009, did you had a native recovery, or CWM installed? Will update work with CWM?

I installed this update manually from CWM. But reboot override CWM to stock recovery. Any ideas how to keep CWM ?
