In the Q&A tab, GeekBuying say it's compatible with Android miniPCs.

      Hello,

I have aslo a ethernet USB, but it is not working for me.
This is because the drivers are for a old kernal, it needs to compile to the new kernal.
I don't know how, also never find drivers for it.

If some can do it, than it is fine and it works.
But till now, no new drivers for the new kernals....

i highly doubt that it will make use of all the ethernet wires, you'd be limited to 10/100 due to USB 2.0.

Of course i know about the usb 2.0 not being able to juice the gigabit.
I just wanna acquire some good usb 2.0 ethernet adapter with real speed

Some routers that include USB ports (the new one though) allow the USB to be used as a network interface as well, i know Thomson products can do this, i am not sure if Android would support that though, it took a driver installation for Windows.

What i mean is you clould squeeze the max of usb 2.0 (400mbit), it's gonna take a thorough research though.

                      USB Ethernet

In case you are using a mini pc without a built-in ethernet port

what you need to buy is an adapter with a specific chipset, look for an adapter with

                      chipset AX88772B

                      like this:

                      http://www.****.com/itm/USB-2-0-to-Lan-Ethernet-Adapter-Cable-AX88772B-for-NEXUS-7-10-Anoroid-4-x-1M-s-/321241770534?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4acb80 6a26

                      or this:

                      http://www.****.com/itm/USB-2-0-to-L...item3a870c8988

there are two more versions AX88772 and AX88772A but it think the B is the latest version.

USB 3 / 1000 MBPS will never work, waste of money to try !!!

make sure that what you buy specifically say "AX88772B" in the title of the item....

                      enjoy....

just receive the new usb adapter

i bought this one http://www.****.co.uk/itm/3607811768...84.m1439.l2649 thanks for indicating me.
So i tested it on my t428 with kitkat and it copied a mkv of 1.0 gig size and the speed achieved was something like 8Mb/s not really bad. Also i found that i have one of those usb hub not powered and it doesn't juice the adapter as i think. So i now i have a decent ubs ethernet adapter but not a decent usb hub.

                            Google will help definitely sure.

I bought a UtechSmart usb 2.0 10/100 adapter with the "A" variant chip. Got it for $15 CAD on Amazon. No more video buffering. I love it!

There is more to differ them than a series generation. They are similiar, but not entirely identical.
