Hi, T-R42 for DTS in MXPlayer you need to follow the instructions from within MXPlayer and download a plugin file.

Do you have any news about AC3 ?

Is it something maybe in the Sound options in the menu ?

    Thanks

If you mean getting AC3/DTS pass-through then you should look at this link http://minixforums.com/threads/how-t...nd-spdif.2041/

Hi, Thanks !! Is this supposed to be just for xbmc or should be effecting MXPlayer for example ?

Also, I have 2 T-R42, one older, without a serial number sticker and one newer, with a serial number sticker.

Both are stock roms that came with the device.

In the older one, in Menu-Sound- there are only about 3 options, analog, analog+optical, optical

in the newer one, there are several more options with the word PASSTHROUGH in 2 or 3 of them.

Does anyone know what's the difference between the two stock roms ?

        Thanks

I believe this fix is XBMC specific.

I only played with T-R42 with V2.0 board (B351 V2.0) so don't really know the differences between them, in my case I used the first PASSTHROUGH option in the menu.
