Pipo M6 Pro - Which is the most stable ROM / Kernel

I'd like the opinions of fellow M6 Pro owners here as to which ROM and/or Kernel is the most stable. And by that I mean never requires a hard reset round the back.

I am running RR1.4 with a modified kernel that heisenberg did for me based on one by giouncino. The tablet performs really well, very smooth, gets around 19,500 in Antutu... BUT it frequently locks up when on standby and needs a hard reset to bring it back to life.

So... if you have an M6 Pro that never requires resetting, please can you post here which ROM and/or kernel you are using. I know that not all M6 Pros are built the same but I'd still like to hear if people have theirs completely stable. I'm sure there are others out there who would be interested as well...!

RileyRom 1.6 or 1.6.1 are the most stable versions.

But are they 100% stable? If so with which kernel? I tried 1.6 but I still had to reset occasionally.

I can only assume that after 400+ views and just one response (from the ever-present giouncino) that nobody has a 100% stable M6 Pro.

        Oh dear!

I can assume "ever present" as a good thing or not?

Also KitKat is good for stability. For a beta release it is very promising. If at the moment you are not interested in GPS you can try installing it, just to "learn" about the new future revisions of the system will be based to.
I suppose/hope that the Kitkat official releases will be the perfect companions to our PIPO M6pro. Till now with kitkat I've used the reset hole only one or two times...

In any case 1.6.x is the best Jelly Bean for stability/performance, but not perfect....

LOL - it's a good thing We can always rely on you for comments and feedback in these forums!

I tried 1.7 but it was a bit too rough around the edges for my liking. That said, I can't recall ever having to reset my tablet while I had it installed.

At the moment I'm using 1.4.2 because the kernel heisenberg did for me is quite stable. It was based on your claro test kernel but with a slightly higher RAM voltage. I don't believe this kernel exists in a 1.6 version.

The custom kernel thread is getting a bit long-winded now and trying to find the right kernal can be a bit of a drag. That's why I thought I'd try and cut to the chase with this thread.
