Problems with 1.4 and 1.4a ROM's

I have acquired a G2 have have updated it to 1.4.

This worked at treat and i got the Android market and was working well.

After some forum reading i found the 1.4a version of the ROM, so i then flashed the ROM with this version. (I know over eager)

And initial it seems that all was working. Then i found a couple of issues.

1) The battery would not charge, it seemed to be stuck at 15%. The Power light is green all the time.
2) Booting with out power lead plugged in the Battery showed about 60%
3) When shutting down with the power lead attached it shuts down but the screen does not go black it goes while as if power is attached and so it bright.

Would it be better to re-flash back to the 1.4 version, but saying the i see there is a 1.5 out, should i use that.

No one else has had this problem outof 100's of users so I am not sure what to say.

One mistake many make is plugging in the power jack into the earphone jack! Make sure your not doing that.

But yes my 1.5 ROM is a better ROM if your not using a 3G stick or OpenVPN.

Well i have update to V1.5 with no issues at all.

Im having problem with the touch screan doesen work i try the version 1.4 and 1.5

No one else has had this problem outof 100's of users so I am not sure what to say.

i'm sorry to hear your still having problems , you may need to try and flash the original stock rom to bring it back to life .


if that does not work you may have a hardware problem .
