New RK3188 MK918

Hi guys I recently brought a K-R42/T-R42 quad core android TV box. But revived this new version?

It has took me over a week to find out model number as its not printed on PCB. Now I have tried every ROMbased on the K/ T-R42's and have always had probs with either WiFi/BT/Ethernet not working. Currently running KitKat wasser on the 1080p old kernel (WiFi only) with a CPU of only 1.41Ghz! Not 1.8Ghz as advertised.
I've been in touch with the Chinese seller who sent me a firmware update claiming it would put my CPU back at 1.8Ghz.
Now,I'm guessing quite a lot of people will be getting these instead of the 1.8ghz model. Would a ROM maker be willing to make a custom firmware and 1080p OC kernel for this device? Maybe only kernel needed as Wasser ROMs Do work good on this device. Its the WiFi/Ethernet/BT not working and clock speeds which is down to kernel not ROM?

I just received the same box in the post today. Mine didnt boot past the "ANDROID" splash screen.

I'm nervous about flashing with the ROM on your link, did you test it?
Which wasser ROM did you find works the best, can you link to it please?

I am going to contact the seller, but think I would be happy to flash with a community ROM with a bit of guidance.
