Viaplay app on CloudnetGo CR11/S

I installed this rom http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...Ready-20131205 on my CR11/S and installed an app called Viaplay. Its a streaming service with movies, series and sports.

Everytime i try to stream anything from this app, the streaming stops after approximately 5 seconds. It seems to be the same issue as this guy have http://minixforums.com/threads/viaplay-app.3492/ but i havent been able to get it to work on my device.
I looked in the build.prop to get the correct model an then modified the mentioned MediaCodec section impa_codec_config.xml. But it still stops after about 5 seconds of streaming.

I know this is a special scenario but wanted to know if anyone had a similar case and a possible fix?

I have a MK902 device and had the same problem as you...


I didn't get the suggestions from http://minixforums.com/threads/viaplay-app.3492/ to work either on my machine, but I did the other way around instead...


I saw that CX-919 was already in the impa_codec_config.xml then i changed product model to "ro.product.model=CX-919" in the /system/build.prop file.


Now my Viaplay app works ok - but not perfect! I have some flickering in the top of the screen in some movies.


Have you found any better solution?

Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried changing ro.product.model to CX-919 but it didn't work. Still crashes. I'm going to look for another Viaplay compatible android stick.

If you have any suggestions, let me know :-)
