PLEASE MOD FREAK TABLET STATUS BAR

i need the volume buttons on the status bar because my tablet does not have any physical buttons that is why they are on there if possible can you leave them on

that did not work the clock battery and mobile signal are to small i don't need the clock if its easer to get ride of it to correct portrait mode

That will not be necessary, I will try to adjust the space between the icons, I thought that changing the size would suffice.

Paul, my 2.0 ROM is another project I am working on. It makes the old Arnova look like yours. Once you and Miklaus settle on this status bar, I will make you the 1.5 debloat ROM. You wont need my 2.0 ROM because your already on a honeycomb style system.

OK Miklaus no problems

I am in no rush with all the ROM I have in the oven right now!

However a tip. On my 2.0 ROM the status bar when going portrait will compress the icons and show a small little + box showing that more things are on the status bar than appear. When you press the + box it expands them out. So I notie in Pauls screen shots the icons were slid over and not showing the + box.

You may need to flash my 2.0 ROM to see how this works? I forget are you on the capacitive 10G2 or resistive? My 2.0 ROm works on the capacitive but if your on resistive I can try to get a 2.0 ROm for that model ASAP so you can test?

i have been doing allot of tests and trying different mods for my status bar i have finally got my status bar in portrait mod to display correctly the only way to do this was to download bobs Arnova 10G2 Finless Bob's "GingerComb" Custom ROM Version 2.0 and extract SystemUI.apk framework-res.apk i had to loss the volume buttons witch for me was a useful feature but i can live without it i also asked miklaus to do the mod and make it transparent witch he kindly did but it wasn't practical because on certain things i could hardly see my status bar at all i.e on the web or anything else with a white background it is real pain to mess with this status bar because if you get something wrong and try your mod i loss all my system settings i.e contacts wifi settings and a few more there is still some issue but i don't now how to correct them i am hopping miklaus mite be able to fix these.

miklaus can you help me with these issues

1 in portrait mode i get the plus icon bob was talking about but when i click on it nothing happens can this be removed her is the screen shot


if i turn off notifications it displays correctly her is the screen shot


2 can you do your battery mod again

3 can you make the mobile network signal a full bar i.e so the first part of the bar is not missing

4 can you change the back ground to jet black at the moment its a dark grey

Actually I just tried it. The + box is nothing more than an indicator of "more" notifications on the status bar. Pressing it does nothing.

I installed Arnova 10G2 Finless Bob's "GingerComb" Custom ROM Version 2.0 SystemUI.apk framework-res.apk tried it for a week but had a few problems i.e when pressing the power button no menu comes up the device just reboots i also keep losing network signal loss certain settings it looks like i will have to stay with my stock SystemUI.apk framework-res.apk and just live with my clock getting cut off in portrait mode
