help needed mk809 ii stuck

Hi hopefully some can help this novice.i have bought a mk809 ii when it came very impressed . Unfortunately I could not run some apps read a few articles easy option seemed to install finless 1.7a rather than root.Loaded fine but no wi fi.
So decided to load a stock rom and then root it but now stuck loading.Read some more seems shorting pins 6-7 method is the next step.opened dongle up but it does not look the same as the diagram.
Help .the chips inside are.ap6210, mira, san disk and rk3066 if that helps

Managed to bring the stick back to life , loaded a couple of roms but no wifi or bt.can any body suggest a rom that would work and where to get it.?

Seem that u have a different chipset to the standard mk809ii


have a read through this thread , it may help you find the firmware you need as its the same chipset

no change still no wifi

The images loads but still no wifi , switches on then it switches itself of after a couple of minutes.Any ideas on what to try next.
