CS918S no signal or video output - please help!

My new CS918S has just stop working.
    Motherboard id: CS918B-BOX V1.0 2013-09-02
    Chip: A31S

The first day I plug it in, It all was good to start with a bit glitchy with the air mouse but ok. That day, All I did was uninstalling all the chinese apps that where waste of space and did turned off the unit.

Second day went to turn it on...and only the power switch has the blue light on.... but apart from that NO signal or video output.

Only one day old, What the hek?
Attemts so far! Trying to reflash the original firmware it seems all going well but make no differnt still no signal or video output.

Does anyone know if this can be brought back to life or shall I ship back to chine

Here is a screenshot of the motherboard and firmware update that im trying to flash!!!

No panic. Try to reflash it using PhoenixSuit.

    1. Download it from here.
    2. Install and update to the last version.
    3. Select the firmware image in Firmware tab (dowload image here).
    4. Connect CS918s (microUSB) to PC (USB) while keeping the recovery button pressed on your CS918s. You should hear the sound of the recognized device by windows. Then release the button.
    5. You'll see the green upgrade progress bar started.
    6. It takes 3.5-4 min. Once over, disconnect the unit. You're ready to go.

    Good luck!

        1. Try connecting to another tv
        2. Replace hdmi adapter
        3. Replace hdmi cable

Must be something of the three.

        Cheers

          So far...
          1. Unfortunately I dont have a second tv to test it
          2. I have plugged to a different hdmi input but still no signal
          3. I have try it with a different hdmi cable but still no signal
          4. New attempt, av cable to tv still no signal.

          Possibilities faultys:
When I turn it on sometimes doesnt turn on and sometimes the blue light blinks in fast mode. If I put a different power supply similar output voltage doesnt do that but still say no signal.

This thing is driving me crazy?
Are there any recovery files for this device that can kick the device out of that sleeping mode.

As you ca see from the pic down below everything seems fine but when I plug it to the tv still no luck.

You know how to flash this device's firmware with Phoenixsuit, how about telling me and others how to do it.

Hi Guys, I used Phoenix Suite today to update the firmware of my CS918s as described above but without pressing the recovery button on the underside (I did not have a problem with the old firmware). Is this a problem or do you only use the recovery button when the box has an issue ? Thanks

Hmm i also.. did many firmware updates
-however i never used the 'recovery button'
--it seems livesuit auto reboots the system in 'flash mode' after hitting the upgrade button (it seems)

I think.. the recovery button is only needed when android.. no-longer boot(s)

                              Cheers
