Tronsmart T428 keeps rebooting when app Is launched

Hi I have been using my tronsmart on and off for about 6 months. I plug It In to the tv and power it up just when I want to watch something on the net via the browser or the filmon app that i installed. When I first got It, It was working but then got stuck at the penguins screen each time so i downloaded a new firmware from somewhere on line and It worked since until the other day. It loads up fine and I can usually select the wifi network and add the password etc but then when i try to launch any program it reboots ? I cant remember If It came with an sd card installed but there is not one there ! Is that the problem ? If so I do have a spare one from my old phone ! Or am I missing something ! I have tried about 3 new firmwares now so it must be something other than that like a setting or something.

Ok so answer my own question courtesy of joshua m on Google+ I was using a phone usb supply which could not give me enough juice to run the larger more power hungry apps. Once I switched to a higher power usb (my dvr usb) the problem was solved

Hi, btw you do have the original power adaptor it's a 2A no great but more effective than a 1A telephone charger like even the iphone charger.

I use a 3A adapter and never had an issue

I think I may have said something on the Google plus site but you might want to try a powered USB hub. It works great for me and my stick runs 24/7. I never turn it off and I don't have reboot issues or overheating problems. Hope this helps.
