Known working firmware for RK3188 device's

Can we all post our working firmware for our RK3188 Sticks including cpu / wifi module numbers, and which rom / kernel we are using.

It would be good if we could upload our working kernels as well so if all the numbers on the board match then other people should be able to flash and hopefully have no problems.

All mine below work fine with Beyond XBMC Beta 3.1 (GT-Ixxx) Launcher Version (Spoofed as a Samsung Galaxy Device)

I will start by telling you all what i have found upto yet as i have had a few sticks to play with.


Wifi working on both sticks / smooth playback on xbmc

I just hope others can share there's, as if they match all numbers on wifi module, there shouldnt be a problem with no wifi.

Plus we will have a nice database of known working firmware / kernels

The most stable rom for me is:

Neomode 2.0 Crom TV with Kernel from 1.9a overclock to 1.8 ghz + 800 mhz ram + 798 GPU (But the GPU freq stays at 446 ( ).

Antutu score 20000 +/-.

Neomode hybrid rom 1,7 with included kernel. Everything is working perfect. It even plays 1080p from external sd.

I have a Rikomagic MK902 Quad Core Android 4.2 Mini PC 16GB RK3188 Cortex-A9 1.6GHZ Mini TV Box running this custom ROM:

Everything seems to be working great so far but haven't tested the camera or the LAN network, I use WiFi.

Finally after few days of continuous fight I found the best build out there for my RKM MK802 IV RK3188-T AP6210

All I care is Smooth playback in XBMC, I tried every ROM in this section without luck. Then I started digging else where and I came across this beauty: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...The-Nitro-Team

I use stock kernel that comes with this ROM and I have 1080p TV. All works perfect, XBMC is finally smooth, I stream HD movies from my PC and they play just fine. I checked Icefilms and HD content plays superb. Thanks to this thread I started to testing ROMs for other devices. This is very useful for beginners. Cheers
