myself i use a 4gb parameter (internal storage)

& use a 32gb sd card as my nand flash but i think you should walk befor you run so i dont recomend the sd card nand set up for you at this time the 2 GB parameter will proberly do you
God i didn't make that clear at all, what i intended to say was:-
Stick the 2GB RAM file into the Ram tab under parameters.
Then i take the 4GB Storage Parameters and and if i'm thinking correctly that goes in the parameters tab under Nfs?

The question was whether or not i can make the modification to the RAM at the same time i make the modification to the storage in a single flash process like i outlined above, or do i need to flash twice, once to fix the ram and again to fix the storage?

And to answer ur question i'm using: Neomode Custom Rom MK802IV as suggested by neomode earlier in the thread, i do much prefer it over the stock rom but a couple of things niggling me but i wanna get the bigger stuff sorted out first

NO no maybe iv confused things, you only need to change the parameter file (you change one file in the Neomode Custom Rom) & that changes the internal storage & it changes the nand storage

1.All you do is download the 2gb parameter i posted, save it to your pc (forget about the 4gb one)
2.open the flash tool click the box iv highlighted in red,now navigate towards the 2gb parameter you downloaded & saved select it.
      3.click erase IDB (nand)
      4.click flash rom

ha ha no worrys I do that to people lol,, the file I posted will sort you out.. it will give you 2Gb of ram (internal stoage) instead of 1gb witch you have now & your nand will be about 5gb

& to confuse you even more if you was to use the 4GB parameter file i posted insted of the 2GB parameter file, your ram (internal storage)would be 4GB & your nand would be about 3GB

OMG thats confused me even more, lemme try to clear this up stating the 2 problems one by one.

1st Problem:- The device says on the box it has 2GB RAM, which the original ROM stated as well
Neomode's ROM only seems to recognise the 1, i had though the 2GB file u sent me was to fix the RAM issue and make the ROM rcognise that all the RAM is there and available.

2nd Problem:- Internal storage says 0.98GB Total 123MB Available
NAND says 5.61GB Total, seems to be stuck calculating the available atm
            No MicroSD atm

as far as i can tell my apps install to internal storage not NAND
so i wanna take about 4GB of NAND and put it to Internal Storage, giving me more room to install apps to as i any files i want to store i'll keep them on the microSD card once it's put in.

Yes the 2GB file i posted will put storage back to how it was when you brought it (will fix problem 1 & 2)

You are right Most app's install the app to the internal storage & a little to the nand..if you install a large game though most of the game will be installed on the nand & a little to the internal stoage,, so your nand needs to be bigger than your internal storage

out of interest WTF is NAND and why do we actually need it, my tablet n phone just have internal and external memory n they run fine?
