New Rom Based On Nov Geekbuying MK808 In Progress

I am putting a basic rom together. Removing all the bloat.

So far i have removed all the bloat.
Installed Kit Kat launcher
Standard Build.prop changes

I will be working on overclocking next. I will have both stock kernel and overclock kernel....

FYI....I use active cooling with a fan and i use a usb to Ethernet adapter so i am not testing wireless as it is junk anyway. I also have a Logitech camera that i can confirm that works.

I will include CWM update.zip also all the gapps.zip that i used and know that works.

I dont care much about the boot animation...keeping that the same.

What else should i include?????? Tying to keep it lean and mean.

I anticipate about 1 more week before i upload it.

UPDATE.....It is smoking fast....not going to do anything with the kernel...all is working except my logitech cam works for only 2 boots then i have to wipe dalvik cache to get it working again for anther two reboots....i have played with most roms and this definatly feels the fastest. Project butter is working.....will qc for just a few days then upload.

Overclocking on 4.2? Good luck with that

Good luck with the rom, will be useful for mk808b users, mk808 users should not touch it with a barge poll however.

Couple of people in the Finless 4.2 ROM thread say Logitech C270 webcam won't work, but it works on 4.1 ROMs. Works for me on 4.1 but it needed to be connected to the OTG port and powered by a USB hub.

Progress

I made good progress last night. I have install procedure ready and logitech cam workaround. I was impressed last night....i did a stress test last night and i moved a 2.5gig file....installed xbmc and scanned library with about 50+ movies...and installed a few apps in the play store at the same time....it stayed responsive and nothing failed. KitKat laucher is working well...Google now works ok.....but my couch is far away from the cam that has the mic and only works reliable when i am close to the the tv. I dont have a hulu account but i did try to test. ABC app on the market works. Ill post this weekend.
