I may be wrong but doesn't the cx-919 have a modified version of xbmc in the stock Rom?

Mine didn't and neither do the Finless roms (which I flashed immediately after purchase ).
But then again, I squeezed my stick between 2 fans and use an overclocked rom, just to get xbmc running smoothly at 1080p.

I've noticed some vendors sell sticks with xbmc pre-installed for an extra cost. I think they either install an xbmc beta (nightly build) or the xaf version based on mx-player. I get the best result with xbmc nigthlies.

        Grtz,
        B

                http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-XBMC-(Beta-3)

                beyondxbmc works very well
new gotham 13 beta1 works very well too, and support mouse scroll like beyondxbmc and external player
you can use this two in same device to try, it install their files in different directories, and keep that you like !

PD: to not loose your configurations, backup userdata folder or (my case) .xbmc folder
                regards
