Android Market and my "incompatible device"

Rooted my new PMID701I using the instructions at:

Works fine and dandy, but some things won't download, the market telling me my Polaroid is an incompatible or unknown device (sorry, don't remember the exact wording.)

It says that for fairly basic stuff, like any of the free versions of Angry Birds. I could understand it saying that for things that use a GPS or camera, or need the latest 3D rendering, but come on, Angry Birds?

Anyone have similar issues, or do I just need to tweak a setting (or two?)
