    Which RK3188 device?

    Hi

Having left my previous Android devices unused for a while, I'm thinking of getting a new quad core one.

Is there a brand/model with a product which has reasonable performance, unlike the earlier devices with serious over-heating, poor Wifi, etc?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

What kind of device are you looking for? A TV stick, or a box, which are often more expensive but have also more features and connectors?

      Primarily a TV stick.

However, if it becomes relatively straightforward to use, I'd like to see if a number of older relatives would enjoy playing simple games on a large screen TV. If a box is easier to use or more reliable, I'd be happy to give it a whirl.

Do you have any "special needs" like a built-in camera, a mic or lan port? Those are things you can rather find on a box than on a stick.
I can't really recommend any device since I'm owning only one stick. But I heard a lot of good thinks about minix and their boxes.
It also seems like they only use the real rk3188, not the rk3188t. This is a topic I would recommend you to look into before buying a new device, since there are currently some problems with this new chipset.....
And I would also look for support of the custom rom developers.

I bought a mk908ii, because of the low price, mostly as a toy for myself. This is also the 3188 device geekbuying is recommending...
