I know nothing about models but these guys in the above link to the thread do, the answer maybe in the are a guy mentions kitkat and old and new together in 1 paragragh.Hope that helps it is the best i can do,as googling it yeilded 4 results of which this is one,and the others didn't seem to relate or were foreign and therefore potentialy wrongly translated in areas of interest?

But if i had anything to guess via the name you wrote for the board or chip which was this tn-bx09_v2.1 1329 2013/05/31 ,then personally i think it pertains to a second revision motherboard or chipset obviously requiring a 2nd revision board to work on at a guess? So if there were 2 the second i guess is named with v2.1 somewhere in the title, as this is the case for pc motherboards as far as i am aware,although the .1 added in v2.1 could mean a third revision board as there may have been a v2.0 before it?
But if i had to hazzard a guess i assume which is dangerous to do in these senarios,that it is a newer motherboard?

Another thing to possibly make an assuption with relation to is,i have a k-r42 unknown board just a blue board is all i can say.But in my device it has no bluetooth so i assume anything with a similar board and has bluetooth must be the second or be it newer version motherboard to mine,meaning it contains a new board i assume again?

Additional components added to boards do sometimes bring about the release of a new board usually with pc motherboard makers the add an addition to the title eg. m334.v2.0 this as an example has no bluetooth on the board,but then the company 2 months later releases eg. m332.v.2.1 motherboard which has the bluetooth.

It's hard to say with some generic china products with any certanty as to what they are cloning or which of the clones the board matches like for like,but i hope it has helped in any

Just found this after trying harder than before and i believe it proves i may be right,this guy has tried new board install of wasser 1080 and it failed for him his board is an old board by looking at his response to the other guy.

Your board date is the same but your 4 digit number is higher and therefore my guess is it is newer slightly than versiyaTN-BX09_V2.1 from 31.05.2013 (1335) board? Of cousre i am guessing but using the only available logik i can make up from a board model.

If i had the system and let's say you want to know if you are able to use kitkat version old or version new to go on the box , only if it were me i would not fear the new version to use for it,but that it is me and not you and i never care if i mess the installs up any way, as i have a trick to recover from a bad flash on my k-r42 every single time which may work on your box if it's a clone of a k-r42 say?

Unless this new mod alters something other firmwares and tools can't fix?
