CX-919 issue...please help!!!

I recently got a cx-919 and the hook up and everything was going great. Was using stock rom just while getting used to it. It kept rebooting and one time it went to reboot and never came back on. The device gets hot like it is getting power, but no display and no LED light. I have tried holding the fn button and hooking it via USB to my laptop with no result. Is there something I am missing? Did I get a bad unit? Please help!!

It won't get recognized by your PC unless you have the correct drivers installed, so that part is normal.

You do have a defective unit. Depending on how long ago you bought it, you should return it for a refund or replacement.
