it is only running at 1.42ghz I thought the 3188 ran at 1.6ghz.

Locked at 1.4 its a 3188T chipset some able to overclock some not read the blacklisted thread. Sounds like you got a locked CPU,

Mine is not 3188t chip,
I am only using this for xbmc
Works fine though
So why overclock it.
