Hello,

Like to inform you that i tomorrow release a Custom Rom for the MK902 from RKM.
Also i include some OC Kernel with 1080p and 1.6 1.7 1.8 GHz.

THANK YOU! so much neo! This is what I have been holding out for! I know this little device has potential. If your rom doesnt fix the random reboot issue, nothing will. Going to post a link to here in the xbmc thread.

Hey Neo,

I received one device and I tried to install MK908 all the ROM's but my device was not showing anyout on the HDMI. Looking at the device, Someone found that this is some MK908 but MK802. Hence I tried the ROM and everything is back to normal.
here are the different troubleshooting steps which I tried on this device so far.

I just wanted to understand what is the difference in between MK908 and MK802IV devices.

Do I need to ask my AliExpress seller for the replacement as he sold me MK908 but MK802IV ROM;s are working and not MK908?

Please suggest.

I have seen your post. For a rom look at bee-link this is the Original manufacturer.
The mk902 is a tv box from RKM.

ok got it flashed. so far so good. your 1.9a rom seemed snappier out of the box. im sure this will settle. running 1080p with no reboots and everything works including camera.

Yes it will after first boot some apps will be installed. You can also try The OC Kernels. They Are in the Zip File.

For this you only must Flash a new Kernel.

thanks for the tip. so looking back through the zip it looks like the loader picks up the kernel that is named kernel. the other kernels with the numbers after it mean the overclock in mhz right? so i would rename the one i want to just kernel and flash just the kernel with your same loader right? also want to look into overclocking the ram. any way to do that?

For this you only must Flash a new Kernel.

ok you only start the flash tool on the right line with kernel click There And you can select a different kernel to flash.
Then deselect all select only The kernel and flash.

the kernels are Ram OC.
kernel 174 means 1.7 GHz And 400 Ram
GPU always 600.

First of all thanks very much for this rom. Finally I can enjoy 1080 playback with this box and no random rebooting.

I've tested video playback with the original kernel, the 1766 and the 1866. All seems fine. There seems to be no appreciable difference between them with video though so I'll probably flash back to 1666 just to be safe.

Thanks NEO! I was hoping I wasn't the only one with a MK902. Hopefully a recovery is avaliable.

Boot to recovery and try the recovery I include TWRP.

Hey NEO,

I'm a little unfimiliar with Neomode Rom Flash Tool v1.37. When I flash this ROM, do I want to check all .img files? The backup.img wasn't checked. How do I flash the different kernel.img ?
