Cozyswan CS918; anyone else have one of these?

I am trying to find out where the Cozyswan CS918 RK3188 (Quad) settop device (possibly this device: http://bit.ly/1f4SWfl ) fits in with all of the other devices discussed here. I have seen several other posts on this forum where outside of branding the devices look identical. I have used the rkflashkit tools under Linux and saved the various partitions, but I am a bit nervous trying some of the other flavors of firmware, which can be downloaded, as there seems to be enough differences that one should tread carefully. Plus, when doing a search for Cozyswan in the forum no results are returned. I am uncertain if this device is a clone one one of the other devices mentioned or if it is its own device that is not compatible with the devices discussed here.

Does anyone else own one of these Cozyswan devices which are being sold at amazon.com ( http://amzn.to/1f4UA0r )?

As I have not even found the support page to download the stock firmware I am just a little nervous to experiment. Is there anyone here who has more experience and knows which device the cozyswan most resembles?

    Thank You.

Looks like my EKB311B (RK3188_Box_V2.0 Board). Do you see an "R-BOX" bootlogo when it starts?

It comes up with white letters saying GoogleTV, then goes to the boot animation which looks somewhat like a Nexus 7 tablet (four circles: red, green, yellow, blue; that come together and then spread out). Once the animation is complete the Android Launcher is displayed.

XBMC is causing the most grief. I have tried justXBMC, SPMC, Free Ouya XBMC, BeyondXBMC, and plain XBMC. They all have loaded and worked fine. The issue is between boots. XBMC will work fine while getting addons and such setup. Then I will reboot the device, and then XBMC does not even startup. Sometimes it exits immediately while others it will show the boot logo and just hang and never show the main interface.

When I delete XBMC I 'uninstall' the app and then go into ES File Browser and delete the XBMC directory (if it still exists after the uninstall). If I re-install XBMC (any version), the above symptoms occur. The FREE Ouya Version has lasted the longest, but after a few days it also suffered the same fate.

I would actually be quite happy with the device and the current firmware if XBMC would just stay working. Other apps, MX Player Pro, ES File Browser / Task manager, 3D Next Launcher, all continue to work fine. It is just XBMC that is having strange difficulties.

I would kind of like to start from scratch, but I don't even know where to get the Stock firmware for this device.

This should be a K-R42 as far as I am aware and I think I have that device. I use wassers 1.2.3 rom on mine but there are two versions depending on the hardware. Beyond XBMC and this rom works perfectly for me but I don't know if the one you have bought has a T chip in it.
        To Infinity and Beyond.... XBMC

Easiest thing to do is open up your case and see what version board you have

If you would prefer not to, try the different firmwares and see which one works best on your device
