This is really a very nice work which you all are working on.
One thing I specifically noticed that I did not see any single repository for all the devices available.
Can we create something like this:
1. Different SOC board names and versions which we are using as Android TV Sticks.
I don;t see any one single repository where all the products are listed which can be used as Android TV sticks.
This should include:
1. Name
2. Pictures - box, manual, other available details, board pictures with chip details
3. Base firmware
4. Different components on SOC
5. Available chip-set
6. Brand Name
7. Original Equipment manufacturer.
2. A web based portal where someone like me should be able to give all the visible codes on SOC - e.g. Different IC numbers and we should be able to identify the device.
I recently ran into issue where I was not able to boot up. But some good people here helped me to get back to life in this area.
I am sure I am not the only one who got affected by this but seriously there is no single repository where we can identify devices based on visual indications. Our China friends are adding more fun to this as they are coming up with cloned devices as well which we all already know.
Intended result at the moment is we should be able to create one single repository where all the SOC versions are listed and their required base firmwares are available so that if they run into issue, they know where to go.
Second phase of this project can be building a firmware based on visual indications on the board. So lets say i see AP6210 IC on my board which is wireless controller(If not please consider

I know this is not simple task but this can be achieved with combined efforts from everyone. I am sure all the required resources are available within reach here.
I am only putting up the idea where we all can make it easier for each other..
