    Bricked X7 ???

    Hi Everyone.
I have been trying a number of firmwares from here on my MINIX X7 box.
I tried Kitkat 4.4.2 and was having problems with wireless connectivity, so I tried JustXBMC.
This is where problem started, I erased IDB and then flashed firmware, it got to about 40% then I got a failure message. Now I cannot erase IDB as it gets to 677 then states
    lower format failed
    Erasing IDB failed

    Is there a solution
I've flashed quite a few different android boxes, tablets, and I have never come across this before

Do you also have the problem that the USB connection with the PC is lost after a few seconds?
When I returned from 4.4 to 4.2 I also semi-bricked it, solved it by taking the next steps:

    1. Put something in the recovery hole to press the button inside, and keep it pressed.
    2. Press and hold the powerbutton so the device goes into recovery mode
    3. Flash a new firmware
(Remember to keep both buttons from step 1 and 2 pressed during the whole process, so even when you're flashing they should still be pressed!)

    Hope this helps!

I got random problems while flashing when I had a long usb cable. Try a short one.

So simple yet so impossible to figure out yourself.
I agree . Should be sticky.

+1 on this. I found that just keeping the power-button in, releasing only the recovery button, also works.
