No sound in guitar apps

Hi all,

this is my first post in these forums but have been using them for a while.

I'm getting no sound when using anything that should play midi.

Do any of you know if I should do anything to get midi sound?

What app do you mean and what you should it do for you?

I was trying to use an app for showing and playing guitar tablatures.
They all need midi playback for the sound and none of them was working.

For example "Guitar Tab Player" makes no sound

Does the same thing happen to any of you?

I'll checked it on three different android devices and it worked. I assume your device or the ROM is incompatible.

Didn't expect that to happen. Thank you for the help.

I have continued checking the reason and I cannot even play a midi file with this rom.

It's a K-R42 bought last month, so I guess it's the last revision. I also downloaded the latest stock rom. Will try to find an explanation about midi not working.

Have you checked the sound setting options. Maybe you find an option. My rk3188T tv-box plays the midi files fine.
